Funeral services for Farris Bernice Waller, age 97, of Jacksonville will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 18, 2021 at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville with Bro. Robert Simpson officiating.  Burial will follow at the Corine Cemetery. 

Farris was born April 1, 1924 in Cherokee Co. to Oscar Monroe Simmons and Linda Annette Reed Simmons.  She was a Mother and housewife and attended Beall Chapel Baptist Church.  She passed away in a Jacksonville Nursing Home on June 14, 2021.

Farris was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Sherwood Waller, her parents, and a son, William Walter Waller.

Farris is survived by three sons all of Jacksonville, Bernard S. Waller, Butch Waller and Maurice W. Waller, four daughters, all of Jacksonville, Veronica A. Chandler, Linda B. McDaniel, Emma F. Hinson and Faye McMichael, seventeen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren as well as cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Pallbearers will be Austin Kirby, Phillip Lambert, Dale Lambert, Michael McDaniel, Terry Drum, Johnny Beckham, Roger McMichael, John Lambert, Tony Kirby, Emmitt Waller, Jr., Archie Lambert, and William Waller.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
