Laura  Fay Gros, of Ponta, Texas died Saturday August 31st, 2024. She was born January 25th, 1959 in Minden, Texas to Lonnie Raymond and Ruby Fay Briggs George. She love to go fishing and her family and friends, most of all her dog "Chunky". She is preceded in death by her parents,  brothers  Jay Deason, James George and Jerry Deason, half sister Wanda Myers, and her nephews Travis Wilkerson and D.J. Legnon. She is survived by her daughter Mary Moore of Jacksonville, Texas,  brother and sister-in-law Jack and Janice Deason of New Salem, Texas, sisters and brothers-in-law Viola and James Tennison of Ponta, Texas, Debra and Eddie Richardson  of New Boston, Texas, one sister-in-law Kathy Deason of New Salem, Texas, one GRAND CHILD  that is on the way...!!, As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
