Mellody Marie Morgan, 70, of Whitehouse, passed away at her residence on Saturday afternoon, March 29, 2025. A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted on Thursday morning, April 3, 2025, at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, to begin at 10:00am. A visitation with family will be held on Wednesday evening, April 2, 2025, at the Funeral Home from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Interment will be at Whitehouse City Cemetery.

Mellody was born in Tyler, Texas, on Febuary 3, 1955, to parents Charles and Mamie Brown. Mellody worked in the Grocery industry.  

Mellody is preceded by her Father, Charles Wilton Brown, Mother, Mamie Louise Brown, Husband, Michael Morgan, and Brother, Charles Wayne Brown.

She is survived by her Son, Shannon James Wright, Son, Danny Lee Kemp, Jr., Son, Kenneth Wayne Kemp, Sister, JeanneSue Ward, Caregiver, Wanda Godwin, Daughter-in-law, Carla Wright, Daughter-in-law, Marlena Kemp, Daughter-in-law, Ashley Kemp, Grandson, Dylan James Wright, Grandson, William Wayne Wright, Grandson, Danny Lee Kemp, III, Grandson, Jeffrey Michael Kemp, Granddaughter, Zoe Marie Kemp, Granddaughter, Kierra Kemp, Granddaughter, Emily Kemp, Grandson, Tony Kemp, Grandson, Sean Baskin, Great-grandson, Zailyn Eads, and Great-grandson, Jagger Eads.

Pallbearers will be: Danny Kemp III, Jeffrey Kemp, Nelson Allen, Dakota Moates, Charles Hare Jr., and  Noah Garza.
